Born July 28, 1893, she was a daughter of Frank and Eva (Rutter) Harpster, of Pulaski, She was married Dec. 21, 1916 to Preston Nice. All her life was spent near Pulaski. She was a member of the Presbyterian church of Pulaski, and a former member of the Indian Creek Home Economics club. Surviving are: the husband; her mother, Mrs. Frank Harpster, Pulaski; one son, Jake, Winamac; one daughter, Mrs. William Hershberger, Mishawaka; three grandchildren;... She was a member of the Presbyterian church of Pulaski, and a former member of the Indian Creek Home Economics club. Surviving are: the husband; her mother, Mrs. Frank Harpster, Pulaski; one son, Jake, Winamac; one daughter, Mrs. William Hershberger, Mishawaka; three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Henry March, Pulaski; one brother, Ray Harpster, Pulaski. The body was taken to the Fry and Lange funeral home where it will remain until 1 p. m. Wednesday. It will then be taken to lie in state for one hour at the Pulaski Presbyterian church, Final rites will be held at the church at 2 p. in. with the Rev. Thomas Bailey officiating. Burial will be in the Pulaski cemetery.
