Description	:	(Sigourney Review 14 Sept 1932) Ida Leota May, daughter of James and Angeline (Nelson) Larimore was born May 4, 1884 in Keokuk County, Iowa and departed this life at the St Josephs Hospital in Ottumwa, Iowa, September 6, 1932 at the age of 48 years, four months, and two days. She was united in marriage to Jord Ruby November 2, 1904 at Sigourney, Iowa after which they moved to a farm 4 miles north of Martinsburg where they lived until her death. She was united in marriage to Jord Ruby November 2, 1904 at Sigourney, Iowa after which they moved to a farm 4 miles north of Martinsburg where they lived until her death. Mrs. Ruby is survived by her husband Jord Ruby and five children: Mrs. Velma Glenn of Hedrick, Iowa, Mrs. Helen Keck of Hedrick, Mrs. Golda Angove of Ottumwa, Miss Edith Maxine Ruby at home, and Mr. Garlon Ruby of Hedrick. She is survived by her father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. James F. Larimore of Ottumwa, five grandchildren; one brother, John Larimore of Omaha, Nebraska and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Yahn of Ottumwa, Mrs. Belle Glandon of What Cheer, and Mrs. Elizabeth Young of Muscatine. Her mother and two sisters preceded her in death; Mrs. Laura Breese of Knoxville and Mrs. Melissa Meeker of Farson. Also, one brother, who preceded her in death in infancy. Mrs. Ruby joined the Baptist church at Hedrick when she was 16 and remained in the church until her death. Funeral services were held last Thursday afternoon at 3:30 in Martinsburg. It was one of the largest attended funerals ever held in that town with a profusion of flowers. She was a kind and loving mother and loved by all who knew her. She is gone but not forgotten.
