Description	:	WABASH — Ida May Watson, 89, died at 8:10 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2011 in Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born October 7, 1921 in Urbana, Indiana to Charles and Naomi (Shultz) Keaffaber. Ida attended Urbana and Servia Schools and graduated from Chester High School in 1941. She worked for Honeywell Incorporated and 32 years at General Tire in Wabash retiring in 1982. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Read More	WABASH — Ida May Watson, 89, died at 8:10 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2011 in Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born October 7, 1921 in Urbana, Indiana to Charles and Naomi (Shultz) Keaffaber. Ida attended Urbana and Servia Schools and graduated from Chester High School in 1941. She worked for Honeywell Incorporated and 32 years at General Tire in Wabash retiring in 1982. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Ida was also a member of S.O.A.R., A.A.R.P., Singles with a Vision, was a leader with the Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts, and loved caring for children. She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, crocheting and doing count cross stitch. She is survived by three children, Rolland Gene Watson, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Larry James (Sue) Watson, Wabash, and Judith Ann (Dale) Owen, Gas City; six grandchildren, Lisa Watson and Larry (Delilah) Watson II, both of Wabash, Todd (Julia) Watson, Greenfield, Tracy (Homer) Penix, Wabash, Shanna (MCountyatt Niverson) Owen and Alanna Owen, both of Gas City, and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2011 in Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave. Wabash, Indiana with the Rev. Phil Lake officiating. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery, Urbana.
