Description	:	Ida S. Riley, daughter of Richard and Marian Riley, was born at Colbrook, Ohio, October 21, 1861, and died at her home in Polk, Nebraska, February 25, 1941, aged 79 years, 4 months and 4 days. She came to Nebraska with her parents in 1871, settling near Osceola in Polk county, where her girlhood days were spent. In 1879 she was married to Joseph Curren who preceded her in death in March 1919. To this union were born four children, a daughter, Hallie, who died in infancy, and three sons, H. E. Riley, daughter of Richard and Marian Riley, was born at Colbrook, Ohio, October 21, 1861, and died at her home in Polk, Nebraska, February 25, 1941, aged 79 years, 4 months and 4 days. She came to Nebraska with her parents in 1871, settling near Osceola in Polk county, where her girlhood days were spent. In 1879 she was married to Joseph Curren who preceded her in death in March 1919. To this union were born four children, a daughter, Hallie, who died in infancy, and three sons, H. E. Curren of Polk, and J. S. and L. B. Curren of Palmer, Nebr., who mourn the loss of a loved mother. Most of her life was spent in central Nebraska, except for a short time in Oklahoma and in Wyoming. She became a member of the Presbyterian church when a girl, but of later years she had attended the Methodist church, although she had never changed her membership. In 1935 she was married to Monroe Henderson(sic) of York, Nebr., who died in 1937. After his death she moved to Polk where she resided until the time of her death. She leaves, besides her sons, one sister, Mrs. Mina Edgar of Gering, Nebr., one brother, R. C. Riley of Central City, eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives as well as a host of friends, who will miss her cheery smile and word of greeting.
