Description	:	Mrs. Jacob Van Steenwyk, 85, of Sioux Center died Thursday, August 30, at her home of a long illness. Services were at 1:30 P.M., Saturday in the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home at Sioux Center with the Rev. Wesley Kiel officiating. Burial was in Memory Garden Cemetery. Mrs. Van Steenwyk, the former Ida Van Ek, was born Feb. 10, 1894, at Orange City to Andrew Van Ek and Katherine Juliana Maria Nienwenkof. She was married Feb. 2, 1922, at Sioux Center.
