Description	:	CENTRAL CITY — Idamae Nouzovsky, 82, of Central City died Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Bryan LGH East in Lincoln. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Central City Cemetery, with Pastor Doug McHargue officiating. Burial will be in the Central City Cemetery. Solt-Wagner Funeral Home in Central City is in charge of the arrangements. Idamae was born on April 17, 1935, to Dwaine and Eva (Reynolds) Spanton in Blair. She grew up in the Grand Island area and graduated from Grand Island Senior High School in 1953. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Lloyd Green. She worked at Hested’s Department Store as an assistant manager. She then married Millard Nouzovsky on Aug. 29, 1965, in Grand Island. They farmed together Southwest of Central City until retiring and moving to Central City in 1993. Idamae was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She was a member and past President of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was the historian for District 6 School and a representative for the American Legion at the state level for Veterans Hospital in Grand Island. The 4-H units were under Idamae’s direction as they raised money. Idamae enjoyed fishing, camping, the outdoors and bowling. She especially enjoyed her family and grandkids. She is survived by her husband, Millard of Central City; one son, Tony Girsdorf of Grand Island; three daughters, Kathleen Judd of David City, Deborah Girsdorf of Central City, and Stacy Bolles of Grand Island; one brother, Howard Spanton of Council Bluffs, Iowa; one sister, Pauline and Charles DuVall of Central City; and 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Randy Nouzovsky; one son-in-law, Greg Bolles.
