Description	:	Ila died at the Teton Nursing Home in Choteau of natural causes. A memorial service is June 1 at 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Choteau. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder Funeral Home of Choteau. Interment of ashes will be in the Choteau Cemetery at a later date. Ila lost her mother when she was 4-years-old. Her father eventually remarried and she and her sisters spent much of their time living with different family members. She spent her sophomore year in Los Angeles then moved back to Idaho for her final two years, graduating from Rupert high school. She moved to Choteau and worked for Dr. Bateman. Ila married Myles Standish June 21, 1938. The couple lived in a bunkhouse on the Standish ranch and in 1944 purchased the H.B. Hanson place. She was an active volunteer especially for the Girl Scouts where she was a leader, trainer and served on the Big Sky Council. She enjoyed crafts including sewing, quilt making, and china painting. Ila and Myles sold the ranch in 1970 and traveled extensively. Myles died in 1993. She married Earl Larson in 1996.
