Read More	Ila Mae Davis Williams, 98, went to be with her heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. The family will meet all other times at Ila's home. Ila was born in Stokes County to the late Alvin Davis and Mattie Glenn Davis. She married the late Dillard Rankin Williams on November 15, 1937, who was the son of Charlie Ross Williams and Daisy Irene Cable of Madison. Ila was a faithful member of the Palestine United Methodist Church, Stokesdale, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Williams worked for a short period of time at Washington Mills in Mayodan. The rest of her working days were spent at Gem Dandy in Madison, where she retired as section supervisor with thirty-seven years of service (1948-1985). As she worked at Gem Dandy, she also assisted the family in raising tobacco, gardening, and caring for her two sons. After retirement, she loved looking after all the family. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by grandson, Charles Davis Williams, II (Chuck), brothers, Pete, Ray and J.W. and sisters, Mary and Louise. Survivors include her sons, Charles Williams and wife, Joan and Daniel Williams and wife, Janice; sisters, Sarah Tucker and husband Harry and Nancy Bullins and husband, Ray; sister-in-law, Audrey Thompson and husband, Don; grandchildren, Danette Decker and husband, Martin, Gina Hill and husband, Don, Angel Williams and husband, David and Tammie Moran and husband Rob; great-grandchildren, Heather Woods and husband, Brian and Hunter Williams, Bailey Harris and husband, Kenny, Macy, Maya and Minor Moran and Charles Williams, III (Chase); step-great-grandchildren, Kara Decker and Nathan Hill; great-great-grandchildren, Cade and Danaleigh Woods and Thomas and Charleigh Harris; step-great-great-grandchildren, Christopher Woods and wife, Chelsea and Daniel Woods; special family friends, Anntyia Vestal, Ginger Thomason and Taryn Vestal and special friend and caregiver, Mary Bell Richardson.
