Description	:	Ila Mae Foxworth Blakely, of Andrews, widow of Thomas Eleon Blakely, went home to be with the Lord on the morning of December 2, 2009. Mrs. Blakely was born a daughter of Thomas Daniel Foxworth and Lillie Mae Fordham Foxworth on June 5, 1915, in Statesboro, GA. She was graduate of Andrews High School. Mrs. Blakely worked 22 years with Oneita Industries and also worked as a sales clerk for a total of 20 years with such employers as Ruffins Department Store, Andrews Department Store, and Calico Closet. Mrs. Blakely was born a daughter of Thomas Daniel Foxworth and Lillie Mae Fordham Foxworth on June 5, 1915, in Statesboro, GA. She was graduate of Andrews High School. Mrs. Blakely worked 22 years with Oneita Industries and also worked as a sales clerk for a total of 20 years with such employers as Ruffins Department Store, Andrews Department Store, and Calico Closet. She was a faithful member of the Trinity United Methodist Church serving 18 years as a chancel choir member, 13 years as a pre-school Sunday School teacher. Mrs. Blakely was a member of the Esther Elizabeth Circle since 1972, a member of the Ladies Bible Study since 1975, and a member of the Daisy Watson Sunday School Class. She was married to Thomas E. Blakely on January 14, 1933, and celebrated 40 years together. From their blessed union survives, three children, Delores Jacqueline "Jackie" and husband T.D. Walters, James Vernon and wife Ann Blakely, and Vera Winell and husband Bill McDaniel; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; a grandson, James Derrick Blakely; a great-granddaughter Tracy Lynn Thomas; six brothers, Herman Jefferson Foxworth, Rufus Foy Foxworth, Thomas Dewey Foxworth, Lehman Imman Foxworth, and male infant twins; and two sisters, Janie Ruth F. Howard, and Wilma Ann F. Futch. Interment was in Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
