She was born Aug. 7, 1910, in rural Spring Grove, to Ole and Emma Louise (Grindeland) Ingvalson. She was a lifelong Spring Grove-area resident. Read More	Ilyn Marietta Musser, 91, of Spring Grove, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2001, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse. She was born Aug. 7, 1910, in rural Spring Grove, to Ole and Emma Louise (Grindeland) Ingvalson. She was a lifelong Spring Grove-area resident. She was a 1929 Spring Grove High School graduate, and she then went onto teachers normal training. She taught in rural areas of Spring Grove and Caledonia, Minn. On Oct. 30, 1949, she married Willard M. Musser at Highland Lutheran Church in rural Spring Grove. He died on Jan. 18, 1995. She was a member of Highland Lutheran Church, where she and her husband were very active. She was a lifelong Spring Grove Sons of Norway member, and had been very active in the 4-H programs. She had been a resident of Green Lea Manor in Mabel, Minn., since March 16, 2001. Survivors include two sons, Wayne (Vi) Musser of Enid, Okla., and William Musser of Decorah, Iowa; two daughters, Ila Musser of Winona, Minn., and Elaine (Dana) Kjome of Spring Grove; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Irvin Ingvalson, of Spring Grove; Ingolf (Sara Mae) Ingvalson, of Sun City, Ariz., and Harlan (Joanne) Ingvalson, of Caledonia, Minn.; one sister, Marie Linderbaum of Ossian, Iowa. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Grant, Leslie, and Byron Ingvalson. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Highland Lutheran Church in rural Spring Grove. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pastor David H. Andreae will officiate. Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Roble Funeral Home, Spring Grove, Minn. and at the church on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m.
