Description	:	Imogene "Jean" Doris Dollerschell, 86, of Sterling,died Monday, March 10, 2003 in Sterling. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 13 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 14 at Chaney Reáger Funeral Home with Father James Baird officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery in Stoneham. Mrs. Dollerschell was born June 20, 1916, to Ambrose and Emma (Nowack) Vetter in Aurora, Neb. She grew up in Phillips, Neb. After graduation, she moved to Fort Morgan to live with relatives and worked to earn money for beauty school in Denver. She fulfilled her dream of becoming a beauty operator, when in 1938 she recieved her beauty operator's license. She then moved back to Ftort Morgan where she worked. She met Wilfred Dollerschell in Fort Morgan, and they mar ried Dec. 21, 1939. Later they farmed in the Stoneham area and lived there until 1969. Mrs. Dollerschell continued her beau ty shop work while on the farm. In 1969 they bought a half interest in Dollerschells Men Store in downtown Sterling and ran it until retirement in 1993. Mrs. Dollerschell was a charter member of the Sterling Elks Does and a member of the American Legion Auxilary She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends. She is survived by sons Gary Dollerschell and wife Kay, of Stoneham, their children Jeff and wife Jennifer and their chil dren Ryan, Haley and Mitch,: Chris and wife Amanda and daughter Kayla, Keffi and husband Ken Wienke and son Kurt; Tim Dollerschell and wife Mary of Sterling, their children Richard, Robert, Sandi Stubbs and her children Jake and Paige; and sister Donna Sagel and husband Fred of Fort Morgan. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilfred, who died in 1996. Contributions can be made to the Iomgene Dollerschell Memorial.
