She married Hugh Lambert on Nov. 23, 1976, in Dubuque; he preceded her in death on Mar. 7, 2000. She attended Dubuque Schools and lived in Denver, CO for 25 years. A prolific letter writer, she always kept in touch with many friends and relatives. J. Allen Mihal, USN. She was also preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Ed Schenk; a sister, Bertha Pfiffner; and brothers, Floyd, Urban and Harold Scholtes. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bellevue, IA, where friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bellevue. The Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home, 1640 Main St., is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 405 Franklin Ct., Bellevue, IA 52301.
