She was born June 12, 1930, at Stella, Ark., to Theodore Roosevelt and Zellah (Foster) Vickery. She attended school in Izard County, Ark., until moving to the Wenatchee area when she was 15 years of age. She later attended Wenatchee High School. She married Albert Arndt on Sept. 13, 1945, in Douglas County. Three girls and two sons were born to this union. They later divorced. Imogene was a former member of the Badger Mountain Ladies Club and a leader in the Badger Mountain 4-H Clubs. On Nov. 2, 1968, she married Charles C. Jones at Orondo. Imogene especially enjoyed gardening, canning and reading. She often won awards for her produce at the Waterville Fair. She was a member of the Waterville Federated Church. Survivors include her husband, Charles, at the family home; four daughters, Rita Winkle of Ardenvoir, Connie Robins of Mountain Home, Idaho, Marcia Webb of East Wenatchee, and Cheryl Weaver of Cave City, Ark.; six sons, Merle Arndt of Leavenworth, Jerry Arndt of Wenatchee, Charles A. Jones of Waterville, William R. Jones of Waterville, Clifford L. Jones of Spokane, and Dale A. Jones of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; a brother, Lael Vickery of East Wenatchee; 24 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a daughter, Alberta, and a grandson. Arrangements are by the Waterville Funeral Home.
