Description	:	Ina Saltzman was born on December 29, 1924, on a farm west of Milford, Nebraska to Emory and Ada (Stutzman) Schweitzer, the 2nd of five children, and went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at her home in Milford at the age of 86 years, 5 months and 30 days. Read More	Ina Saltzman was born on December 29, 1924, on a farm west of Milford, Nebraska to Emory and Ada (Stutzman) Schweitzer, the 2nd of five children, and went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at her home in Milford at the age of 86 years, 5 months and 30 days. As a young girl, Ina accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized at East Fairview Mennonite Church where she was a member. She attended Stauffer Country School where she graduated from the 8th grade. On December 30, 1945, she was united in marriage to Sterling Saltzman and to this union seven children were born: Arlyn, Lynn, William, Mavis, Anna, Marietta and Mark. Together they made their home in Milford where Ina was a homemaker. Her family was very important to her and she enjoyed spending time with them. She loved to quilt and quilted many quilts for family and friends. Cooking, sewing and gardening were also some of her hobbies. No matter what time you stopped in to visit, she was always ready to cook a meal for you! She always had fresh sweet tea to serve you! She was always a part of the Woman's Sewing Circle at church and always willing to lend a helping hand to someone in need. Survivors are: husband, Sterling, Milford, children and spouses, Arlyn and Diane Saltzman, Chambersburg, PA, Lynn and Pam Saltzman, William and Carmen Saltzman, all of Milford, Mavis and Russell Puckett, Athens, AL, Anna and Jerry Roth, Marion, PA, Marietta and Lonnie Burkey, Mark and Kris Saltzman, all of Milford; 22 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Aldean Oswald, Edna and Howard Miller, Lela and Bob Stutzman, all of Aurora, OH, Verba and Lauren Troyer, Milford; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Grace Rediger, Pierre, SD, Erna Saltzman, Delta Saltzman, Hesston, KS, Edward and Leona Saltzman, Seward, NE, Lila Osborne, Wichita, KS, and a host of other relatives and friends. Ina was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, a great-great-grandson and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 1, 2011 at East Fairview Mennonite Church with Pastor Tim Springer and Pastor Kyle Roth. Interment in the church cemetery.
