Description	:	MRS. INA KENISON SUMMERS Mrs. Ina Kenison Summers, wife of Harry W. Summers, passed away very suddenly on Saturday, April 30, on her way home from Lancaster. Mrs. Summers was born April 26, 1887, at Jefferson, the daughter of Lyman D. Kenison and May Palmer. One sister, Mrs. Gladys Kenison, of California passed away four years ago and two half brothers, Avon and Ona Kenison, passed away nine years ago. She was summoned on July 16, 1906 to Harry W. INA KENISON SUMMERS Mrs. Ina Kenison Summers, wife of Harry W. Summers, passed away very suddenly on Saturday, April 30, on her way home from Lancaster. Mrs. Summers was born April 26, 1887, at Jefferson, the daughter of Lyman D. Kenison and May Palmer. One sister, Mrs. Gladys Kenison, of California passed away four years ago and two half brothers, Avon and Ona Kenison, passed away nine years ago. She was summoned on July 16, 1906 to Harry W. Summers, also of Jefferson, and to this union were born 5 children, Barbara (Mrs. Harry Swinden) of Meriden, Conn., Obline (Mrs. Wilfred Routhier) of Berlin, Miss Beatrice Summers of Concord, Mass., Lyman Summers of Meriden and Palmer, a senior at Jefferson High School, all surviving. Mrs. Summers was affiliated with the Pliny Rebekah Lodge and with the Starrking Grange. She was a life long resident of Jefferson and leaves a multitude of friends to testify to her fine christian [sic] character. She attended the schools in town, and graduated from the Jefferson High School in 1906. This was the only class which was present 100 per cent at alumni celebrations held at the Pliny Range House last June. She was a devoted wife and mother and was thoroughly honored and respected in the community. No social gathering was quite complete without her presence and she was especially happy in the loving devotion of her children and always anxious to see the young folks having a good time. She leaves to mourn besides the husband and children, her stepmother, Mrs. Josie Towle, and several cousins in California. Funeral services were held from her late home on Tuesday afternoon, May 3, amid the many beautiful floral tributes with Rev. Wm. T. Thistle of Lancaster officiating, assisted by Rev. Agnes Ellingwood. The bearers were Frank and Allie Kenison and sons, Gilman, Leland, Burton and Coleman. Interment was in Starrking Cemetery. Among those from out of town to attend the funeral besides the immediate relatives already mentioned were Mrs. James Summers and Mrs. Louis Briemhurst of Orange, N.J., Mrs. Esther Davis of Meriden, Conn., Mr. and Mrs. Ludger Routhier and Mrs. Arthur Routhier, of Berlin, Riley Summers and Miss Cora Summers of Whitefield, Mrs. John Nadeau, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Stickney, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Alexander, Mr. and Mrs. William Bishop, all of Lancaster, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Peabody of Shelburne and Mr. and Mrs. T.C. Rix of Gorham. Coos County Democrat, Weds., May 11, 1938, p. 3, in the "Jefferson" column. Harry Warren Summers married 2nd, Minerva Winifred Kildy, December 9, 1939, Lancaster, NH.
