Description	:	Inez Sollien, age 75, of Mabel, Minn., died Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at her home in Mabel. Funeral services will at be 11 a.m. Monday, April 18 at the Hesper Lutheran Church in Hesper, Iowa with the Rev. Curtis Fox officiating. Burial will be in the Hesper Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 - 6 p.m. Sunday, April 17 at the Mengis Funeral Home in Mabel and one hour prior to services at the church. Read More	Inez Sollien, age 75, of Mabel, Minn., died Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at her home in Mabel. Inez Osmundson was born April 1, 1930 in Spring Grove, Minn., to Jeremiah and Alma ( Quandahl ) Osmundson. She attended the Kjome Country School and the Decorah High School before graduating in 1947 from the Spring Grove High School. January 30, 1949 she married Andrew S. Sollien at the High-land Lutheran Church in rural Spring Grove. They lived in the Spring Grove, Quandahl , and Van Horn areas before settling in the Hesper and Mabel area in 1950. She had worked at Control Data in Spring Grove, and the Countryside Inn and Mabel Farm Equipment in Mabel. Since 1984 she had been working with her husband, Andy, and son, Tim, at the Sollien Service Center and Mabel Amoco in Mabel. She was a member of the Hesper Lutheran Church and WELCA. Inez Sollien enjoyed golfing which included a hole-in-one, bowling, crocheting, playing cards, and going with friends for scenic drives along the Mississippi River. She is survived by her husband Andrew of Mabel; two daughters: Andrea (Forrest) Folkedahl and Deb (Greg) Nel-son both of Hesper, Iowa; a son,Timothy (Lynn) of Mabel; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers: Jerold (Joan) of Washburn, Iowa, and Richard (LeaEtta) of Eagan, Minn.; four sisters Jaerdis (Norwin) Nesheim of Decorah, Florence (Herbert) Thorson of Spring Grove, Adele Burnett of Warsaw, Mo., and Sharon (Tom) Schumacher of Onalaska, Wis., and several nieces and nephews.
