Description	:	The infant son of Mr and Mrs Burl Campbell passed away Friday, March 16th. The child was only two weeks old. The body was laid to rest in the Richland cemetery south of Marquette, Sunday afternoon. The funeral services were conducted by Rev Smith. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved parents. Central City Republican, Thursday, March 22, 1917 INFANT SON DIES The infant son of Mr and Mrs Burl Campbell died at their home in Hordville, Friday morning, March 16, at the tender age of ten days. All that loving hands could do, was done to save the little one's life, but God in his Infinite Love took the babe to Glory. Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev Smith on Sunday afternoon. The text was taken from II Samuel 12-23. "Beautiful Beckoning Hands," "Safe in the Arms of Jesus", and "Asleep in Jesus" were tenderly sung. Rev Smith spoke sweet words of comfort to the mourning parents and children. The little white casket was banked with flowers in the loving esteem for the family. After the services, the baby was tenderly laid to rest at Richland cemetery. At this sad hour for the parents, the hearts of their many friends are sad with them and can only tell them to make Jesus thier Friend and some day we will understand.
