Description	:	Innocence Wells was born in Lincolnshire, Eng., February 20th, 1829, and died at her home in Kearney Co., Nebraska, May 9th, 1907. She was married to William Bycroft August 12, 1851. Of this union were born six sons and four daughters; four sons died in infancy and early life. Read More	Innocence Wells was born in Lincolnshire, Eng., February 20th, 1829, and died at her home in Kearney Co., Nebraska, May 9th, 1907. She was married to William Bycroft August 12, 1851. Of this union were born six sons and four daughters; four sons died in infancy and early life. They moved from England to Illinois in the spring of 1866, where they remained until 1881, when they moved to kearney county, Nebraska They were among the pioneers in this part of the country. In the month of March three years ago Mr. Bycroft passed away. Mrs. Bycroft has been feeble for some time, and a few weeks ago was taken down with her last illness; she suffered considerably during this time. Although not a member of any church in this county she was a devoted Christian and loved her bible, and the old hymns. Two sons and four daughter, and many friends mourn her departure. The funeral services were held at the home on Sunday afternoon May 12th, and the remains were laid to rest by the side of her husband, in the Minden cemetery. A quartet of the Methodist choir at Minden furnished the music; and Rev. A.L. Umpleby conducted the services.
