Description	:	PAMPLICO -- Iola Beatrice Poston Ard, 69, of 462 E. Lynhurst Road, died Monday evening, Oct. 14, 2002, in a Florence hospital after an illness. Funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at Prospect United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Mrs. Ard was born in Florence County, a daughter of the late Gary and Katie Coleman Poston. She was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Surviving are two sons, Henry David (Emma) Poston and Richard Bryant Ard, both of Pamplico; daughter, Alice Faye (Matt) Joye of Pamplico; three sisters, Louise Poston of Andrews, Mary Welch of Lake City and Edy Mae McClintic of Indiana; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and other times at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Henry David Poston, 4304 Halfmoon Road, Pamplico. Memorials may be made to Prospect United Methodist Church, c/o William Smith, 834 Belle Thompson Road, Pamplico, SC 29583.
