Description	:	Iola Ethel Coon was born on August 14, 1915, in Colesburg, the daughter of Claude and Bertha (Toomer) Coon. She was raised and educated in the area, and was a 1933 Colesburg High School graduate. Iola married Bert Beatty on February 7, 1937, in Volga and they were the parents of John, Maylo, and Louwaine. Bert died in 1951. On April 18, 1953, Iola was married to Frank Reimer and they had one son, Delbert. Frank died in 1967. She also was the Elkport City Treasurer for 19 years and was employed at Waterman Store in Elkport. Iola grew up in the United Methodist Church in Colesburg. She enjoyed birds, flowers, gardening and especially sharing her garden produce. Iola died on Saturday, September 17, 2011, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home. She was survived by her four children, 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
