Howson, who passed away at his home here Saturday morning, will be held at the church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be made in the Prairie Union Cemetery. Ira Faubut Howson, son of George and Ann (Tong) Howson, was born April 10, 1876, on a farm two miles souteast of Low Moor and passed away, Dec. 17, 1927. He lived on the farm on which he was born until he was five years of age, when the family moved to Low Moor, where he has since resided. He was one of the Low Moor's successful business men for many years, having retired from the butcher business in 1920. He was a member of the Low Moor church and interested in church and community progress. He was a friend to all and will be sadly missed by the surrounding community. April 21, 1898, he was united in marriage with Carrie J. Barker,who is left to mourn, with three daughters, Mres. Ralph Webber, Mrs. Clarence Healles and Mrs. Harold Holle, all of Clinton, and one son, Roy, at home. Three little grandsons, Orville Healless, Clifford Holle, and Dwight Webber. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Frank Haring of Low Moor and Mrs. Frank Brown of Boulder, Colo.
