Description	:	Ira John Whiteaker, resident of Laurel since 1922, died Saturday morning at the Northern Pacific hospital at Glendive after an illness of almost a year. He was admitted to the hospital on March 23, and death was caused by pneumonia. Born at Dixon, Wyo., on Dec. 29, 1900, Whiteaker was 37 years of age. In addition to his widow, he is survived by four children, Louise, 14; Margaret, 13; Helen, 2, and Raymond, 3 weeks old, all of whom reside at the family home in Laurel. He is also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Whiteaker of Emmett, Idaho, and six sisters: Mrs. Hettie Tipton and Mrs. H. O. Despain of Emmett; Mrs. George Barigar and Mrs. J. H. White of Ellensburg, Wash., Mrs. Charles Barigar of Churchill, Idaho, and Mrs. Ida Parkinson of Buhl, Idaho. The body was brought to Billings Saturday evening and is at the Smith funeral home.
