Description	:	THE TOPEKA CAPITAL-JOURNAL Ira Peck, 77, Iola, died Saturday, Jan. 21, at a Topeka hospital. He was born Oct. 5, 1906, west of Iola, the son of Charley and Eleanor Beahm Peck. He worked for Grennan's Produce at Iola and Pleasanton for many years. In 1953, he returned to Iola where he owned and operated Peck's Texaco station before he retired in 1971. Mr. Peck was a member of Calvary United Methodist church, Iola. He married Velma Slack Jan. 1, 1927, at Iola. She survives.
