Description	:	Ira Maxie Floyd, Jr., 87, died Saturday, June 22, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Floyd was born in Sumter County a son of the late Ira Maxie Floyd, Sr. and the late Pearl Keels Floyd. He served his country in the US Marine Corps and went on to retire as Manager at Pargas and worked in security at Florence County Courthouse for 14 years. Mr. Floyd was preceded in death by his first wife, Christine Wiggins Floyd, and a son, Willie Mack Floyd. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
