Rev. Lester Lamm officiated, and music was by Adolph Stover and Irvin Stover, accompanied by Mrs. Charles Brokaw. Charles Anderson, James Frahm, Kenneth Frank, Carl Moberg, Homer Uehling and Eldon Wesley were pallbearers. Interment was in the Elim Lutheran Cemetery, with Wollmer & Warne in charge. Ira Theodore Uehling, son of Margaret and Henry Uehling, was born Jan. 29, 1899, near Uehling. He was a life resident of the community. He grew to manhood in the Uehling community, attending and graduating from District 67. He attended Oakland High School. On Nov. 25, 1925, he was joined in holy wedlock with Nettie M. Anderson of Tekamah, at Blair. They lived on a farm 2 1/2 miles southeast of Uehling until 1947, when they moved into town, where they resided until the time of his death. Mr. Uehling served on the St. Paul's Church Council, on the Dist. 67 School Board, and on the Uehling Auditorium Board. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, and Masonic Lodge A.F.& A.M. of Oakland. He is survived by his wife, a daughter; Mrs. Lloyd Moseman (Betty) of Oakland; three grandchildren, Dea Lee, Gregory and Kelvin; a sister, Mrs. Elmer Von Essen (Marie); and a wide circle of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Arthur and Ernest.hhw
