Mr Bishop was born in Bamberg County on July 27, 1891, a son of the late Quillie and Emma Harvey Bishop. he was a member of the Wesley Chapel Methodist Church near Ehrhardt. Interment will follow in the Ashton Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call at the home of a son, E Madison Bishop, at Ehrhardt. In addition to his widow and son, survivors include four brothers, Melvin Bishop of Johnsonville, John Bishop of Albany, Georgia, Heyward Bishop of Savannah, Georgia, and Marion Bishop of Tampa, Florida; two sisters, Mrs Nora Bishop Osteen of Aiken and Mrs A C Spell of Cottageville, and two grandchildren.
