Description	:	OBITUARY Minerva Cooper was born in Randolph county, North Carolina, May 14, 1842, and died at her home near Howard, Kansas, January 13, 1904. When a child she came with her parents to Illinois. She was united in marriage to H. S. Ingle March 10, 1856. To this union were born ten children, eight of whom with their father survive her. She was converted at the age of eighteen and united with the Baptist church and was a faithful member of the same until the Union Center class, of which she was a member, was abandoned. In 1892 she obtained the blessing of... Read More	OBITUARY Minerva Cooper was born in Randolph county, North Carolina, May 14, 1842, and died at her home near Howard, Kansas, January 13, 1904. When a child she came with her parents to Illinois. She was united in marriage to H. S. Ingle March 10, 1856. To this union were born ten children, eight of whom with their father survive her. She was converted at the age of eighteen and united with the Baptist church and was a faithful member of the same until the Union Center class, of which she was a member, was abandoned. In 1892 she obtained the blessing of Holiness which was exemplified in her life until her departure to that country where "Holiness unto the Lord" is the theme of all who enter there. She requested that the following text be used at her funeral services: "And I heard a voice from heaven saying, write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth, yea, saith the spirit that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them." Rev. 14, 13. Funeral services were conducted in the Bunker Hill M. E. church and her body was laid to rest in the cemetery near by . . . Published: Wednesday, January 20, 1904 in The Citizen, pg 8
