She had been in failing health for several years. Irene Agnes Wright, was born April 30, 1866 on a farm near Central City, Iowa, the daughter of George J and Ann Wright. She was 91 years and 25 days old at the time of her death. She was united in marriage to John Albert Wilkinson March 29, 1899 and the couple made their home on a farm near Waubeek, Iowa. Mr Wilkerson died April 10, 1938. She moved to Waubeek in March of 1941, where she made her home until her death. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. A brother, Louis Wright, and a sister, Bertha Wright, preceded her in death. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Services were conducted at the Waubeek Methodist Church Tuesday, May 27 at 2 PM by the Rev O L Allison. Burial was in MT Clark Cemetery, Central City, IA. Pallbearers were Frank Dutcher, W F Mitchell, James Wise, Ted Cook, John Clary and Tony Lillig. She married John Albert Wilkinson on March 01, 1899 at Central City, IA.
