Irene was a member of the Norfolk V.F.W. Auxiliary, Norfolk American Legion Auxiliary, and a charter member of the Purple Heart Auxiliary. She was also a volunteer for the Braille program at Christ Lutheran Church. Irene enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, and visiting with friends. Irene is survived by: sons, Jack (Kate) Baldwin of Aurora, CO., Reverend Mark (Marci) Baldwin of Ankeny, IA., and Mike (Deb) Baldwin of Norfolk, NE.; sister, Wilma Dopson of Stanton, NE.; seven grandchildren, Jesse (Kira) Baldwin, Jamie (Shaun) Champney, Dana (Jeff) Bohrer, Mark (Stephanie) Baldwin, Ben (Nina) Baldwin, Blake Baldwin, and Breanna Baldwin; seven great-grandchildren, Jace, Tyce, Abby, Caleb, Anna, Noah, and Braxton and a host of relatives and friends. Irene was preceded in death by: husband, Bob Baldwin; twin sons, Timothy and Thomas Baldwin; and parents. Burial was in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Norfolk, NE.
