Description	:	Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Fri., May 7, for Irene Mohrmann, 92, Watertown, former Madison resident, who died on May 1, 2010, at Jenkins Living Center in Watertown. The Revs. Kyle Osborne and Ryan Mohrmann will officiate in West Center Baptist Church at Madison, and burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Veral and Dennis DeBoer; Lyle Prang; Brad, Brent and Ryan. Organist will be Marli Wiese, and soloist will be Roger Schrepel. The family will be present from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at Ellsworth Funeral Home. Visitation continues one hour prior to the service at the church... Irene DeBoer was born on Nov. 20, 1917, at Madison to John and Rena (Stomberg) DeBoer. She received her elementary education at a country school in Lake County. She married Arville Mohrmann on Feb. 19, 1941, at Madison. They farmed near Columbus, Neb., for 15 years and then moved to Madison, where they farmed another 25 years. They retired and moved into Madison in 1981. She worked at Betty's Dress Shop in Madison, and she also did alterations. She taught Sunday School for many years. Survivors include two sons, Ronald (Donna) of Bloomington, Minn., and Roger (Marna) of Watertown; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jennie Michelke of Brookings. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arville in 2008; four brothers, John, Okke, Fred and Neal DeBoer; and four sisters, Elizabeth Prang, Lena DeBoer, Elsie DeBoer and Nellie Meinerts.
