Description	:	On November 10, 2010 our beloved mother, Irene J. Wise, went to be with the Lord. She will be greatly missed by us and all that knew her. Irene was born on November 22, 1919 at Conde, SD to John and Claire (Lehna) Lambert. She was their first born, followed by her three sisters, Helen, Veril and Inez. She moved to the Thunder Hawk, SD area when she was a young girl. There she met the love of her life, Morris Wise. Wise, went to be with the Lord. She will be greatly missed by us and all that knew her. Irene was born on November 22, 1919 at Conde, SD to John and Claire (Lehna) Lambert. She was their first born, followed by her three sisters, Helen, Veril and Inez. She moved to the Thunder Hawk, SD area when she was a young girl. There she met the love of her life, Morris Wise. They were united in marriage on January 31, 1935, and spent 60 years together until her husband passed away in April of 1995. Surviving are her children, Gloria, Hardy, Jay Dee, Venoye, Rodney and Connie, Morgan and Rendy; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding Irene in death were her parents; our father, Morris Wise; two sons, Myron and Larry; two daughters, Beverly and Carol; and her three sisters. We were so blessed to have such a strong, caring and loving mother. She will be forever in our hearts. God Bless Her. Funeral services for Irene, age 90 of Lemmon, will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Lemmon. Pastor Ken Miller will officiate with burial in Greenhill Cemetery. Special music will be provided by Marilyn Willey, Darrel and Marcia Klitzke. Serving as casketbearers are her children. All of Irene's family and friends are considered honorary bearers. Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 to until the time of the family service and time of sharing at 7:00pm at the Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home in Lemmon. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to children's charities and can be sent to Irene Wise Memorial, 206 6th Ave E. Apt #10, Lemmon, SD 57638.
