She married John W. Tiedtke on Nov. 30, 1941, at St. John's Lutheran Church. Irene did babysitting work for many years and then worked with production at Sherwood Medical for 18 years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the ladies aid. Irene is survived by her two children, Myron and his wife Sewerna of Norfolk and Marilyn Weldon of Newman Grove; one sister Lois Kilgore of Battle Creek; one sister-in-law Delores Luebcke of Norfolk; grandchildren Jeff Tiedtke, Russ Tiedtke, Marc and his wife Stacy Tiedtke, Michael Tiedtke, Robin and her husband Brad Wagoner, Andy Weldon and Jamie Abler, along with seven great-grandchildren.
