Irene Margaret Bosma was born on August 26, 1922 in Douglas County, SD to Gerrit H. and Allie (Menning) DeVries. She attended country school near Corsica. On July 17, 1941, she was united in marriage to Isaac (Ike) Bosma. Ike died on May 2, 2012. Irene was a member of Grace Reformed Church in Corsica, Ladies' Missionary Society and Senior Citizens. She enjoyed going to sporting events to watch grandchildren and great-grandchildren, playing cards and baking. Irene loved her family and spending time with all of them was very important. Irene died at her home in Corsica on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the age of 96. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ike, parents, 2 brothers, Herman and Frank DeVries, and 2 sisters, Ollie Doorn and Fannie Van Ekeren.
