Description	:	UNION - Irene Riddle Sumner, 75, widow of John E. Sumner, formerly of Santuck, died July 19, 2003, in Montross, Va. A native of Woodruff, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Josie Riddle. She was retired from Cone Mills Carlisle Plant and was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Cheryl Miller of Montross, Va., and Elizabeth JoAnn Sumner of Columbia; one son, John Michael Sumner of Union; two sisters, Martha Wood and Bobbie Morgan, both of Woodruff; two brothers, Ronnie Riddle of Simpsonville and Jack Riddle of Greenville; four grandchildren... Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel. Entombment will follow at Union Memorial Gardens mausoleum. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. After Wednesday, the family will be at the home of her son, John Michael Sumner, 104 Bridletrail Lane, Union. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Salem Baptist Church, 1835 Tinker Creek Road, Union, S.C., 29379.
