Ireta will be forever remembered by her husband, Harold Trusheim, and their children, Curt, Colleen, and Joy. Funeral service at Anderson Funeral Homes, 405 West Main Street in Marshalltown, Iowa. Ireta will be forever remembered by her husband, Harold Trusheim, and their children, Curt, Colleen, and Joy. Funeral service at Anderson Funeral Homes, 405 West Main Street in Marshalltown, Iowa. Ireta was born on her family farm on July 2, 1930, near Huxley, Iowa, where she grew up attending the country school and graduating from Ballard-Huxley high school in 1948. She attended Lutheran Bible College and completed nurse's training in Marshalltown where she graduated with her RN degree in 1956. While spending time in Marshalltown, she met Harold and they were married on November 27, 1965, just recently celebrating 53 years of marriage. Over the years, she served as a nurse in various capacities in Greeley, Colorado, Fort Dodge, and Iowa City, naming pediatrics as her favorite. She liked being the nurse in charge even up to her very last days. Ireta raised her family in Marshalltown and was an active member at Grace United Methodist Church. She later became involved with Evangelical Free Church of Marshalltown and always enjoyed being a part of Bible studies and small groups. In her earlier years, she took great joy in driving her RV and taking her kids camping. A gifted homemaker, she was talented at canning the many vegetables that were grown in their family garden. She loved being creative with woodcarving, drawing, and cross stitch. She also enjoyed companionship with friends, working on puzzles, and visiting on the phone. Ireta is survived by her sister, Clarice Mathis; her brother, Donald (Velma) Wee; her husband, Harold; her three children, Curtis, Colleen Nibaur (Greg), and Joy; and four grandchildren, Kayla, Aaron, Andrew, and Nicholas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chris and Lillian (Richardson) Wee. She is now at peace with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and entered her eternal "home" for Christmas.
