Irma was born in Jasper, Indiana, on November 22, 1936, to Walter and Rilla (Anderson) Taber. She married Donald Schnell on October 25, 1958. He preceded her in death on September 25, 1998. Read More	Irma Lou Schnell, age 82, of Schnellville, Indiana, passed away at 1:48 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, in Brookside Village in Jasper, Indiana, surrounded by her family. Irma was born in Jasper, Indiana, on November 22, 1936, to Walter and Rilla (Anderson) Taber. She married Donald Schnell on October 25, 1958. He preceded her in death on September 25, 1998. Irma dedicated most of her married life to raising her family, but also was a licensed practical nurse. She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish - Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and a lifetime member of the Schnellville Conservation Club. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, watching I.U. basketball, and spending time with her family. Surviving are two daughters, Deb Kluemper, St. Anthony, IN, Barbara (Michael) Kane, Santa Claus, IN, two sons, Rick (Denise) Schnell, St. Anthony, IN, and Jeffrey (Jolene) Schnell, Jasper, IN, 11 grandchildren, Christy, Tara, Vicki, Brandon, Brooke, Amber, Matt, Alyssa, Lauren, Noelle, and Ethan, and 20 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death besides her husband are eight sisters and four brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial for Irma Lou Schnell will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 3:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. Divine Mercy Parish will pray a rosary at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
