L. and Winifred Goble, who were early settlers of the Eel River Valley. She is survived by her husband, Clarence J. "Bud" Olsen of Ferndale; her sons, Ray and Dale Olsen of Ferndale and Ivan and Robert Olsen of Fortuna; her daughter, Dona Mendes of Ferndale; her brother, Chester Goble of Ferndale; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Olsen was preceded in death by her son, Melvin Olsen; and three grandchildren.
