Description	:	SONEFF, Irma Olivia (Theroux) On December 4, 2015, Irma Olivia Soneff (Theroux) passed away peacefully at the Dr. Gerald Zetter Care Centre at the age of 88. She is survived by her loving husband, Carl Soneff; two sons, Doug (Noreen), and Allan (Ann); daughter, Linda (Raymond); grandchildren, Jennifer MacPhee (Karl), Greg Soneff (Sophie), Robyn Soneff, Kathryn Rozek (Kevin), and Matthew Soneff (Natalie); 12 great-grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews. Irma fondly recalled her early years growing up on the Theroux family farm near Jarrow, Alberta. She finished school in Camrose, Alberta, and graduated as a Registered Nurse in Lamont in 1949. She married her husband Carl in 1950. Carl and Irma raised their 3 children in Jarrow. They owned and operated the town's General Store until 1963, at which time they sold the store and moved to southeast Edmonton. Carl and Irma celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on July 29, 2015. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the care team and staff at the Dr. Gerald Zetter Care Centre. At Irma's request, there will be no formal memorial service at this time. A private family memorial will occur when Irma is laid to rest in Jarrow, Alberta, in the summer of 2016.
