Irvin was born on January 27, 1926, the son of Phillip and Orletha (Reeker) Weyhrich, in Pierce County, Nebraska. Irvin attended rural school. On August 26, 1945, Irvin married Bernice Unger in Madison, Nebraska. They made their home on the farm which he farmed with his grandfather. In 1956, they moved to Norfolk where Irvin was employed by the Nash-Finch Company. Later, he began his 35 year career with Norco Feeds as a bulk feed delivery man. Although he retired in 1992, Irvin found lots of odd jobs to occupy his time. Irvin enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time in Branson, MO. Irvin is survived by: wife, Bernice Weyhrich of 68 years; daughter, Sandy and Terry Wiseman, of Norfolk, and grandchildren, Brent and Shelly Wiseman and great grandchildren Jordan and Dawson, granddaughter, Kristi and Steve Silvester, great grandchildren, Landri and Cooper, granddaughter, Nicole and Chad Pokorney, great grandchildren, Parker and Gannon; son, Larry and Kathy Weyhrich, of Missouri Valley, IA, grandson, Larry Jr and Danielle, great grandchildren, Marcus, Gabriel and Austin, granddaughter, Misty Hayes, great grandchildren Jimmy, Ricki and Madison, granddaughter, Robin Narmi and great grandchildren, Ashley, Nick, Nathan; daughter, Carol and Darrel Cederburg, of Norfolk, grandson, Brandon Cederburg and great grandchild, Kerstyn; son Mark and Pam Weyhrich, of Arnold's Park, IA, granddaughter Amanda and Christopher Andresen and grandson Chris Weyhrich. He is also survived by his half-sister, Dixie and Vern Kohler, of Lincoln and a host of relatives and friends. Irvin was preceded in death by: parents, Phillip and Orletha Weyhrich; step father, Herb Zierke and grandson, Brian Cederburg. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Norfolk, Nebraska.
