Read More	Irvin Oliver Russell Born September 24, 1920, passed away May 29, 2005 from complications following hip surgery. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Iladean Russell in July of 2003. He leaves behind daughters, Deborah Stirret and husband Douglas of Roy, Tammie Dayton and husband Robert of University Place; granddaughters Jennifer Stirret-Jones and husband Kevin, Jillian Stirret, McKenzie Rust and Amber Dayton, and a new great-granddaughter, Sydney Dean Stirret-Jones. He was born in Lamar, Arkansas where he was raised with his sister, Lucille. He served with the U.S. Army in Europe during World War II. In 1947, he married Iladean Ashlock of Clarksville. They moved to Washington in 1950, where he worked for the Metropolitan Park District for 32 years. They raised their two girls in Tacoma, and spent many wonderful vacations camping and hiking in the mountains, or fishing at their lakeside cabin retreat. Irvin was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 3, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Fir Lane Memorial Park, Spanaway, Washington.
