(10 May 1799-21 Jun 1881), and Anna Right Poling Price (1800-29 Jun 1866). Read More	Isaac Price was born at Bill's Creek, near Belington in Barbour County, Western Virginia on 8 Sept 1826 to William T. (10 May 1799-21 Jun 1881), and Anna Right Poling Price (1800-29 Jun 1866). He married Mary Elizabeth Stonestreet, the daughter of Thomas and Jane Teter Stonestreet 17 Sept 1846 at Barbour County, Western Virginia. Isaac married for the second time 22 August 1867 Elizabeth England Kinney, daughter of David and Margaret Skidmore England at Barbour County, West Virginia. Isaac died 24 January 1896 at Sugar Creek, Barbour County, West Virginia at age 69 as he was leaving a church service at the Sugar Creek Methodist Church. His physical description says he was 6 feet tall, fair complexion, had blue eyes and fair hair (description from military discharge). Isaac and Mary Elizabeth Stonestreet had at least 11 children. Mary died on 29 Jun 1866, giving birth to a child; she and the baby were both buried in the yard of the home-place on 23 Aug 1867. Isaac and Elizabeth England Kenny had three children; Elizabeth was born in 1839 and died 16 Jul 1906. Isaac, a farmer by occupation, enlisted in the Union Army at Philippi 27 Aug 1862 as a corporal, and served in Company F, 15th West Virginia Infantry Regiment for three years. He fought in several battles and was wounded at Lynchburg, VA 18 Jun 1864; at Winchester, Virginia 19 Sept 1864, and again (severely) at Cedar Creek, Virginia 13 Oct 1864. His discharge reads: "Was wounded at the Battle of Cedar Creek, Virginia, October 13, 1864 by a shell, when in the line of Battle, and had both arms carried off by a shell; at the same time he received an extensive gunshot wound on the left thigh." He was 38 years of age when he was discharged from the U.S. Hospital at Grafton, West Virginia, on 12 Jun 1865. After Isaac was discharged, he returned to the home-place on Bill's Creek, where he lived until his death. His Grandchildren remember that he was able to carry a full bucket of water with the stump of his arm which retained an elbow joint; they also witnessed to his ability to effectively "[not] refrain from sparing the rod;" his stumps served him well!
