Description	:	Obituary from Lake City Graphic - February 23, 1949: Isaac William Jones, son of Mary Hunderford and Nathaniel William Jones, was born in Clay County, Ill., September 26,1870. With his family he moved to Chatsworth, Ill., in 1871 and to Lohrville, Ia., Aug. 18, 1888. August 1, 1908, Mr. Jones was united in marriage to Nora Daisy Morman. Read More	Obituary from Lake City Graphic - February 23, 1949: Isaac William Jones, son of Mary Hunderford and Nathaniel William Jones, was born in Clay County, Ill., September 26,1870. With his family he moved to Chatsworth, Ill., in 1871 and to Lohrville, Ia., Aug. 18, 1888. August 1, 1908, Mr. Jones was united in marriage to Nora Daisy Morman. To this union were born six children: Ella May (Mrs. Carl Kraft), Anna Elizabeth, William David, Margaret Loretta (Mrs. Luther Hollis), Alice Ruth (Mrs. Lyle Hunt) and Velma Sylvia. Mr. Jones became a member of the Woodlawn Church of Christ, Lake City, Ia. in January, 1932. He was engaged most of his life in railroading and as a bridge contractor. He died at Lake City where the family had resided for several years, Febr. 11, 1949, at the age of 78 years, four months and 17 days. He is survived by his wife and four children, Mrs. Carl Kraft of Lake City; Anna Elizabeth Jones of Glendale, Calif., Mrs. Luther Hollis of Lake City and Mrs. kyle Hunt of Glendale, also one step-daughter, Mrs. Cecil Anderson of Lake City; two sisters, Mrs. Chas. Williams of Muncie, Ind. and Mrs. Ruth Saissline of Roseville, Calif., 14 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon, Febr. 16, at Woodlawn Church of Christ with the Rev. M. J. Votruba officiating. Burial was in Lake City cemetery. -------------------------------------------- NOTE: Isaac's father was Stephen D. Jones, not Nathaniel, as shown on the obituary. Social Security records for Isaac's sister, Ruth, who was born at Chatsworth, Illinois on September 19, 188l show parents as Stephen D. Jones and Mary E.
