Description	:	Rowesville - Funeral services for Mrs. Isabel Edwards Ayers, of 916 Bay Road, Rowesville, will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg. The Rev. Curtis Lee Felkel will officiate. Burial will be in Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery near Bowman. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Edwards, Danny Edwards, Andy Dantzler, Larry Ayers, Tony Dannelly and Stan Funchess. Mrs. Ayers was born in Branchville, a daughter of the late Benjamin Morton Edwards and the late Eva Dantzler Edwards. She was a member of the Branchville United Methodist Church. She was retired from the South Carolina Forestry Commission with 51 years of service. She was predeceased by her husband, A.D. Ayers Jr.; and two brothers, Benjamin Edwards and Dantzler Edwards. Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Buck Crim of Orangeburg; two sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Carol Ayers and Arden and Kim Ayers, both of Orangeburg; daughter-in-law, Darlene Ayers of Orangeburg; two brothers, Abraham Edwards and Kenneth Edwards, both of Rowesville; seven grandchildren, Curtis Steffen of Cope, Dustin Ayers, Katelyn Ayers, Evan Williams, Nicole Wright and Wayne Crim, all of Orangeburg, and Jerry and Becky Crim of St. Matthews; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, at Thompson Funeral Home in Orangeburg. Friends may call at the residence of her sons, Keith and Carol Ayers, 369 McNabb Road, Orangeburg, SC 29115; or Arden and Kim Ayers, 262 Tradewinds St., Orangeburg, SC 29115; and at the funeral home.
