Harrison, 90-year-old pioneer resident of Carroll county, died yesterday at 8:15 p.m. at her home at 826 N. Crawford street after an illness of about two months. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Huffman funeral home, with the Rev. John E. Wheatley conducting the services. Burial will be in the city cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral homo until time of final rites. Mrs. Harrison was born Oct. 4, 1859, at Tunkhannock, Pa. and was a daughter of the late George and Ruth Williams. She attended school at Kirkland, Illinois. She came to Iowa in 1881, and has been a resident of Carroll county for the past 69 years and a resident of Carroll for 55 years. On Nov. 13, 1879, she married W.M. Harrison at Geneva, Illinois. Mr. Harrison died Feb. 3, 1935. Mrs. Harrison was a member of the First Presbyterian church. Survivors include the following children: Mrs. Mabel Corwin, Niles, Mich., Mrs. Bessie Phillips, Rockford, Illinois, and one foster daughter, Mrs. Steve Tima (June) of Phoenix, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren, and the following sisters and brother: Mrs. Musa Gibbs, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Bernice Dodge, DeKalb, Illinois, Mrs. Ada Stevens and Grant Williams, Rockford, Illinois, and Summer Williams of Illinois. She was preceded in death by three sons, William, Fred and George, and a daughter, Grace.
