Isabella Caldwell Templeton was married to Nathaniel Templeton in 1776 in Washington, Pennsylvania. Nathaniel fought in the Battle of Sandusky Plains After being wounded he was scalped and tomahawked by Indians who were fighting with the English. Nathaniel was a Private, 2nd Co 3 Batt PA, Revolutionary War, Killed at Sandusky Plains, Erie, OH, Private Rangers on the Frontier. She did remarry in 1786 to a Mr. Riddle and went on to live a long full life. She passed away in Ohio at the ripe age of 100. Isabella is buried with the Hendrick family.
