She was born April 26, 1922 in Story County to Clarence Bush and Orphia (Meyers) Myers. She graduated from Nevada High School in 1940. She married Jack Vincent Sr. on Aug 23, 1941, in Princeton, Mo. She was lifelong resident of Nevada and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Nevad. She was a homemaker and enjoyed flowers, gardening, going to garage sales, driving around in her new van and grandchilren. Survivors include two son, Richard (and Nancy) Vincent and Jack (and Carol) Vincent Jr., both of Nevada; a daughter Bev Johnson of Nevada; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers, Earnie Myers and W.E.(Mugs) Myers, both of Nevada, Jack Myers of Eagleville, Mo., and Gary Myers of Radcliffe; four sisters-in-law, Betty Myers of Nevada, Betty Myers of Eagleville, Mo., Karen Myers of Radcliffe and Shirley Myers of Nevada. Her parents; her husband, Jack, on Jan 9, 1998; a granddaughter, Autumn Vincent; a brother, Cecil Myers; and a sister-in-law, Gloria Myers preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Monday, Oct 9, at Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada with Pastor Myron D Herzberg officiating. Burial followed in the Story memorial Gardens in Ames. A memorial fund has been established. Chet Ryan Mortuary, Nevada, handled arrangements.
