Description	:	OCEOLA PIONEER Well Known Farmer Passed Away Morning Isaiah Mutchler an aged resident of Oceola and a pioneer of the county died Friday morning at his home near that village at a very advanced age. Death was due to diabetes from which he had suffered for some time coupled with weakness due to his age. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 10 o’clock in the morning services being conducted at the United Brethren church in Oceola by the Rev J Alban Fellers and interment will be made at Oceola. Read More	OCEOLA PIONEER Well Known Farmer Passed Away Morning Isaiah Mutchler an aged resident of Oceola and a pioneer of the county died Friday morning at his home near that village at a very advanced age. Death was due to diabetes from which he had suffered for some time coupled with weakness due to his age. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 10 o’clock in the morning services being conducted at the United Brethren church in Oceola by the Rev J Alban Fellers and interment will be made at Oceola. Deceased was aged eighty-three years and twenty days and had been a resident of Ooeola for at least fifty years and probably several years longer than that. He resided in this county continuously with the exception of a short while after his second marriage when be lived near Upper Sandusky. His birth took place in Knox county and when be was a young lad his parents moved to Wyandot county his father purchasing a farm from the Indians. They later moved to Crawford settling in the vicinity of Oceola and the deceased resided there the remainder of his life He was married first to a Miss Kiser a native of this county and twelve children were born to them eight of whom are still living. The children residing in this county are Wm Mutchler, Mrs George Aurand, Mrs Robert Carnes and Mrs Wm Nichelson. His first wife died ten years or more ago and he was married some years afterward to a Wyandot county lady from whom he afterward separated Mr Mutchler was a very successful farmer and had a large estate He was widely known and highly respected and his many friends will be grieved at his death.
