Weston Dead Isophene Beason was born Sept. 18, 1856 in Atlanta, Illinois and died March 11, 1908 aged 51 years, 5 months and 23 days. At the age of 18 she united with the Christian Church at Lincoln, Illinois and has always lived a Christian life. In the spring of 1877 she came with her parents to Audubon Co. Iowa where she has since resided. On Oct. 13, 1881 she was united in marriage to Walter W. Weston. She was the mother of eleven children three having preceded her to the home beyond. She leaves to mourn her loss, a husband, eight children, her mother, two sisters and two brothers. The funeral services were held at the home and at Bethel Church the Rev. W. E. Shugg officiating. The church was crowded with sympathizing friends. "She filled full her sphere of usefulness. She has done what she could." The interment took place at Maple Grove cemetery Audubon. Dr. Vedder reading the beautiful burial service of the M. E. Church.
