One week ago she was removed to the home of Dr. Hildrupp, the family physician, in the hope that she could have better care and that relief might be had for her. Mrs. Mock was thirty-nine years of age and she was the daughter of P.M. and Bethsheba Kleyla. She was born in Tipton county on the Kleyla homestead, southeast of Tipton, where the family now lives, having moved there a week ago. The deceased was united in marriage to E.A. Mock on November 26, 1893 and eight children were born to them, three of them being dead, the one-month-old child dying Tuesday morning at eight o'clock and wing to the very critical illness of the mother she was not told of the demise of her little one. The living children are Elma, seventeen; May, thirteen; Ralph, ten; Robert, eight; Helen, six. She is also survived by two brothers and one sister, they being, W.H. Kleyla, of Windfall; J.D. Kleyla, of near Jackson; and Mrs. Fred Dexheimer, of Tonawanda, New York. Mrs. Mock was a member of the Christian church and was a lady of sterling Christian character, always devoting time to the work of the church when her health was such as to permit. She was also a member of the Eastern Star lodge. The funeral services will be conducted Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the West Street Christian church, Rev. Hoover officiating, and this will be a funeral service particularly sad as the last respects will be paid to mother and infant child and one grave will receive their bodies. The interment will be at Tipton. The remains will be removed to the home on the Kleyla farm southeast of the city and friends who wish to view the remains are invited to call at the house as the casket will not be opened at the church.
