Ziegler, long time resident of Skamania County passed away in Vancouver Tuesday morning after four years of illness. Funeral services will be Friday March 21 at the Vancouver Funeral Chapel at 10:30 a. m. with grave side services in the White Salmon Cemetery at 2:30 p. m. Mr. Ziegler came to Underwood in 1903 where he made his home until he was forced to leave because of illness in 1945. He will be remembered with respect by all that knew him. Mr. Ziegler had not lived at Underwood for several years. He was a former member of the Board of County Commissioners and had served as chairman in 1930. Born October 18, 1881, at Pennsylvania. Member of Woodmen of the World: and the Church of the Brethern in Portland, Oregon. The remains have been entrusted to the care of the Vancouver Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 24, 1950, at the Vancouver Funeral Chapel, Reverend David Hill, will officiate, and final internment will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery in White Salmon, Washington.
